Mrs. TERESA GAIL (BALCH) HARTIN, 55, of Sherwood, Arkansas, died Thursday, June 14, 2012, at Little Rock. She was born June 3, 1957, at Newport, the daughter of Billy Balch and Glenda (Honey) Hicks and her stepfather, Dale Hicks.Mrs. Hartin was a supply supervisor for Baptist Health Center in Little Rock. She enjoyed working, spending time with her children and cooking. She was a very good cook.

She is survived by her special love, Gary Book of Sherwood; one son, Captain William Thomas with the Air National Guard and wife, Chelsee, of Wichita, Kansas; one daughter, Rachael Hartin of Conway, Arkansas; one sister, Jennie Lea Blaty and husband, Richard, of Austin, Arkansas; her father, Billy Balch; her mother and stepfather, Glenda and Dale Hicks; and two stepsisters, Mischelle Oliver and husband, Ronnie, of Stephenville, Texas, and Tanya Staggs of Mena, Arkansas.

BUSS FRANKLIN WILLIFORD, 78, of Jacksonville passed awayThursday, June 14, 2012. He was born July 20, 1933, in Faulkner County, Arkansas, to Charley and Helen Lawhorn Williford. He was retired from Roach Paper Companywith 54 years of service and was a United States Army Korean veteran. Buss was a member of First Baptist Church of Vilonia, Sylvan Hills Masonic Lodge and served on the Harmony Cemetery Board.

He is survived by his wife Rozell (Covell) Williford, of Jacksonville; son, Mark Williford (Roz) of Heber Springs; stepson, Keith Carmical and his wife, Carla, of Porter, Texas; stepdaughter and husband, Debbie and John Hamby, of Vilonia; granddaughter, Lacey Villanueva (Peter); stepgrandchildren: Nikki Lang (Scott), Kim Darnielle (Marion), Brooke Carmical and Sean Carmical; sister, Esther Morris; sister-in-law, Carolyn Williford; and three stepgreat-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by a wife, Golda (Johnson) Williford; parents; three sisters and four brothers.

CONWAY - Roger D. Cole, 62, of Conway, went to be with hislord on June 13, 2012. He was the son of the late Hampton and Maxine Cole of Bigelow. Roger was a loving husband, father, brother, and friend to many. He was an avid outdoors man and loved playing his guitar and singing for his family and friends.

Roger is survived by his loving wife, Laverne Cole of Conway; three daughters, Melinda Shuffield (Stan), of Russellville, Mandy McEntire and Shelli Coleman (Robert) both of Fayetteville; two brothers, Rex and Donnie Cole of Conway; one sister, Rebekah Yates of Sheridan; four grandchildren, Sarah Shuffield, Casey Camp, Ali McEntire, and Christopher McEntire; and many, many loving friends. He was also preceded in death by son, Brian Cole, and brother, Jimmie David Cole.

MAYFLOWER - Joy Ann “Meme” Brown, 77, of Mayflower went to be with her Lord on Wednesday, June 13, 2012. Born in Hill Creek, Ark., on March 10, 1935, she was a daughter to the late Earnest and Clydia McKuin Trafford. Mrs.Brown was a secretary for Mayflower High School, for over 20 years, where she touched and influenced many lives. She served as a School Board member from 1973 to 1978. She was a member of Mayflower First Baptist Church where she taught Sunday school, Vacation Bible school and was a member of the W.M.U. and the Prayer Shawl Ministries. She was active in the Mayflower Community Children’s Christmas Choir. Mrs. Brown served the Mayflower Community as the Democratic Township Committee Chairman for 25 years.

Mrs. Brown was also preceded in death by her son, Stephen Brown, and her sisterin-law Charline Trafford. Survivors include her husband of 59 years, Jacky Brown; sons: Terry Brown and wife, Theresa, Jeffery Brown, and Tracy Brown and wife, Dana, all of Mayflower; brothers, John Trafford and wife, Evelyn, of Plummerville, and Winfred Trafford of Pine Bluff; grandchildren: Chad Brown and wife, Brandi, Brandon Brown and wife, Amanda, Toby Brown, Sr. A Dustin Brown, Tanner Brown, Jordan Brown, Dakota Brown, Reagan Mannis, Kerstyn Mannis, Leah Mahnken, and Jaclyn Brown; five great-grandchildren and a host of extended family and friends.

Services under the direction of Roller Mcnu*tt Funeral Home of Conway will be held at 10 a.m. on Saturday, June 16, at Mayflower First Baptist Church, with Rev. David Fox and Rev. Toby Brown officiating. Interment will follow at Mayflower Cemetery with Chad Brown, Brandon Brown, Johnny Trafford, Gary Trafford, Justin Charton and Win Trafford serving as pallbearers. Honorary pallbearers are: Sr. A Dustin Brown, Tanner Brown, Dakota Brown, Toby Brown, Steve Herron, Mitch Meux, Jeff Adams, Jason Lawrence, Joel Linn and Gerry Turner. McRAE - Mrs. Margie Crisco, 92, of McRae, Ark., died at12:20 p.m. on Thursday, June 14, 2012. Margie was born in McRae on April 22, 1920, to Marion and Mary Emma (Molly) Fuller. She had been a Christian for 76 years and served in thesame Baptist Church for most of those years. She was active in the church and known for her beautiful alto voice. She, along with her sister, Lois Gay, sisterin-law, Irene Fuller, and Ruth Gay, with Gail Durham at thepiano, formed a very talented and well-known quartet.

Margie was preceded in death by her husband, Bud Crisco; her son, Charles Porter Crisco; four sisters, Altha Dean, Grace, Jane and Lois; four brothers, Horace (Speedy), Denver (Sput), William (Speck) and Milton (Turk).

She is survived by nine nieces, Anna Jean of McRae, Lottie of Searcy, Helen Ruth and Marietta of Cabot, Georgia Dean and Bobbie Dean of Beebe, Vivian of Sherwood and Sharon and Marsha of Beebe; and two nephews, Glen of Floyd and Tommy of Beebe; as well as 17 great-nieces and 18 great-nephews.

The family would like to express their thanks and gratitude to Dr. McAfee, Beebe Retirement Center and Loren Nichols for their care and concern.

DALLAS, Texas - Michael Wayne Vandewater was born on July 1, 1946 in El Dorado, Ark. to his parents, O.T. “Van” and Betty Vandewater. Following his public school education in El Dorado, Mike attended Henderson State College in Arkansas from 1964-1968 where he was a member of Phi Lambda Chi fraternityand was named to Who’s Who in American Colleges and Universities. He received his Master of Arts in Psychology from Stephen F. Austin in Nacogdoches, Texas in 1972. He spent his career working with the Richardson Independent School District in Dallas, Texas as a school psychologist until his retirement. Mike was the last of the original founders of the Legacy Counseling Center in Dallas, Texas.

He is survived by his parents of Friendswood, Texas, as well as his sisters, Gail Ramsell (Richard) of Houston, Texas and Karen Fikes (Steve) of North Little Rock, Ark. and a brother, David Vandewater (Phyllis) of Nashville, Tenn., as well as his close friends, Ted Porter and his family, Danny, Timmy, Robby and Jenny of Dallas, Texas and Bubba and Tammy Weems of Dallas, Texas. Mike was a loving son, brother and friend and will be missed by all who knew him. May he rest in peace.

A memorial service will be held on Friday, June 29, 2012, at 11 a.m. at Gaston Oaks Baptist Church at Royal and Greenville in Dallas, Texas. In lieu of flowers, please make memorial donations to Legacy Counseling Center, 4054 McKinney Avenue, Suite 102, Dallas, Texas 75204.
